Expression adverbiale empruntée du latin, qui se dit De tout ce qui suit infailliblement et immédiatement de quelque fait. On l'emploie surtout en parlant D'une excommunication encourue par le seul fait. Celui qui frappe un prêtre, est excommunié ipso facto.
